St. Thomas
The heat is intense on the island of St. Thomas, like no heat you have felt before. You stop for only a day, not long enough to get settled but it feels good to be on land again. Soon it's time to board a different ship that is headed for Colon on the isthmus of Panama.
You have been twenty days at sea, and looking out on the horizon you spot land. The Captain docks the ship in the port town of Colon.
