Yale - Spuzzum

12 Miles (19km). The road will have to be blasted with dynamite along the walls of the Fraser Canyon. The Royal Engineers will build this section.

Spuzzum - Lytton

41 miles (66 km). Some rock blasting will be necessary. A bridge will have to be built at Spuzzum.

Lytton to the junction with the road from Lilooet

86 miles (138 km). Some rock blasting will be necessary. A bridge will have to be built across the Thompson River.

Lillooet - Fort Alexandria

198 miles (319 km). The road will have to cross Pavilion Mountain. A ferry needs to be built for travel between Fort Alexandria and Quesnel.
